Our process varies depending upon the needs outlined in your proposal, but our general exterior painting process is outlined below:

Before any work begins, we will meet with you to ensure we discuss the specific details of the work to be completed. We will also communicate with you daily about the progress of the work.

All areas to be painted are either power washed or hand washed to remove dirt and mildew.

All loose paint is scraped and sanded as per the proposal. Holes and gaps are caulked to prevent any moisture from entering your home.

Any areas that required any repair are primed, and quality paints are applied to the exterior surfaces.

We will clean-up daily by removing all paint chips and storing our supplies neatly. Upon completion of the work, all paint chips, any debris, and our supplies will be removed from the property.

We will inspect the work, and will take a final walk around with you to ensure you are completely satisfied.

The best part of hiring an interior painting contractor is that we do the work for you! There are, however, prep tips that will make your interior home painting service run smoothly.

• Move accessories that can be easily damaged. Bay Area Painting Services are insured, licensed, and professional, and while we don’t want to damage your treasured family heirloom, accidents can happen. Be proactive and move valuables into another room temporarily.
• Remove curtains and drapes if it’s easy enough to do. While our interior painters can cover them, sometimes it is just best to have an empty canvas.
• Make sure windows can easily be unlocked and opened.
• Block pets from entering the rooms being painted. This is not only to prevent pet hair or smudges from occurring, but also to ensure your pets are safe!
